Juhovah witnesses are a cult and don't let anyone try to tell you otherwise. My dad's family is entirely Juhova witnesses. I've sat in a kingdom hall many times. I've been door to door. They've been in and out of my life so many times. They'd reach out, invite me to the kingdom hall or send me some pamphlet or send a group of witnesses knocking on my door. Family events or anything not related to the goal of converting me for the last 20 fucking years are never brought up. Every few months I'll get a text trying to save me. I think it genuinely comes from a good place, but they have rules they are required to follow by the kingdom hall. They treat indoctrinated members as a threat, because they are. They want uneducated middle class people. They control what you watch/do to insane degrees. Chris Stuckman on YouTube has discussed his own experience growing up in a family of them.
