When you’re used to privilege, equality feels like oppression.

Eh, in my industry they're clamoring to hire "underrepresented groups" at a rate of 4X "majority candidates" because they're afraid to get cancel cultured and want to look woke. Literal entire seminars and meet and greet with hiring directives exclusively for women and POC to interact with and get mentorship from industry professionals. They're calling it "reinforcing or social license to operate". Meanwhile I grew up poor AF and can't get a look unless I was in the military as is my apparent duty as a white male to be cannon fodder so that I may even be considered as a potential hire.

Not sure what part of all that you're getting "equality" from.
