What denomination are you and what’s your church like?

I identify as non-denominational. Ive attended Presbyterian, baptist, and non-denominational churches. I personally favor the non-denominational church, I have yet to hear him say anything I disagree with. I was raised in a Baptist household and in a Baptist church, but I dont agree with how conservative the churches tend to be. I usually call myself a “progressive christian” as in I see where the world is going and whether the bible says people are wrong or right im going to love them no matter what. I may not agree with people’s choices but im not going to go to war with them over it.

At the Non denominational church I attend, the pastor often gives emotional heartfelt sermons. Thats probably the only thing I find off-putting for me personally. I dont want to be emotionally moved everytime I attend church. He is very open about his own imperfections and how no one who works for the church is perfect. We were all someone else before we started going to church.

I find non denominational churches and people to be more open minded and supportive to all lifestyle choices.
