Sorry in advance that this post references past drug use, but I've had a few experiences that I cannot explain and seem to be connected to Kundalini in some way, so I figured this subreddit would be a good place to find somebody to shine some light on them.
With that warning out of the way, here we go.
First off, I am an 18 year old man.
Experience 1: About a year ago, I was on a backpacking trip in sequoia national forest with a group of 8 people. On the 5th or 6th day, I camped solo for approximately 24 hours, and as night fell, I kept getting visions of wild animals coming to devour me every time I shut my eyes. I decided to ground myself by meditating and imagining roots extending through my sacrum into the earth. I began to imagine an energy flow up into me through my roots and through my lungs as I took deep breaths, and it felt electric in my spine. I don't know much about chakras (I could only remember four - my sacrum, my heart, my third eye, and my crown) but I for whatever reason decided to direct this energy through the ones that I could remember. As the root energy met my heart, it spontaneously took the image of a snake coiled around my spine, and it felt incredibly empowering. I managed to bring it up to my third eye but not my crown before I called it quits. Mind you, I never heard of kundalini until a week or two after this event when I recounted this story and somebody explained it to me.
Experience 2: Roughly a month later, I ingested 4.5g of psilocybin mushrooms. I experienced something unlike any previous psychedelic trip (and I had had numerous...) and encountered something that I can only describe as a "cosmic entity" with a strong feminine energy who began to dance around me in circles. She was beautiful, but I was terrified of her. I began to feel the strange feeling of something creeping or slithering all over my body, and it's nature was extremely sexual. I felt like I was being molested. The feeling eventually ceased and I got the heck out of there.
Experience 3: Over the month or so following the previous experience, I feel as if the woman I had seen on my mushroom trip was following me around. My fear was mostly gone at this point because her presence did not feel malicious, just feminine and sexual. But I found it extremely strange that I felt this presence nearly all the time. Was it a spirit? A demon? A goddess? A figment of my imagination? I decided to try to communicate with her by smoking DMT and asking her to reveal herself. She immediately appeared before me, and just like in the mushroom trip, I began to experience that sexual creeping feeling coming over my body. Instead of freaking out this time, I let it happen and even enjoyed it. I felt like I was participating in an orgy with demons (the energy just felt 'taboo'), and when I came back to reality, I felt a great 'orgasmic' release and began to shake violently. It felt like I would imagine a female orgasm to feel like. After this experience, the 'spirit' stopped following me around.
Experience 4: Fast forward to last week. I have meditated and taken psychedelic drugs between experience three and four, but I never re-encountered this woman until this recent LSD experience. I felt extremely uncomfortable in my body after ingesting some acid, and I recognized it as blocked qi flow. I began to breath my energy through my body and up my spine as I made fluid motions that reminded me of tai chi (but be aware that these motions just came naturally and I had not learned them from any particular practice). I felt better and better as the energy flowed up my spine, and suddenly I saw the snake again. But this time it was both inside me wrapping around my spine and outside of me walking beside me in the form of a beautiful woman. She and the snake were one and the same, and they were immensely feminine and sexual. It felt like I was connecting with an aspect of myself that I hadn't known existed.
So what was all of this? That snake/woman reminds me of Shakti in all the literature I have found. Do any of you find any of this significant? I may be able to remember more details if you ask me the right questions. Thank you for taking the time to read this!
