The obsession with the rainforest. Yes, I agree the rainforest is important, but this was in your face and everywhere. There were even those cheap movies and books that came out with the rainforest theme, and you couldn’t help but feeling like they were written just to write the rainforest train. It felt like such a forced fad, and the fact that it died down and was sadly forgotten just seemed to prove that to me.

The only rainforest show I didn’t mind and didn’t think was created to make money was that episode of Magic School Bus. That was probably the only show I saw that actually went into what the rainforest actually was and how it’s ecosystem worked.
