What did that one teacher do to you that you'll never forget?

My dad passed away my freshman year, and the year after my mom sent me to a military school for failing two classes that year. After I got back, I became a pretty heavy stoner junior year. I was an average student, but I suffered from an immense depression. One day I came into my science class and smelled heavily of pot. My teacher and I shared a friendly relationship, but I guess I really annoyed her that day because she called me out in front of the whole class and said “what would your father think?” Caught me totally off guard. I got my stuff and left the class a mess. Spent the rest of the period wandering the halls and hiding in the restroom.

She pulled me out of my history class the next day to tell me she had no idea me dad was dead, and she was sorry. To this day, I do not buy that. I have no idea why else she would specified which parent. I became a fairly quiet student in her class after that.
