What did you think you were really good at until you saw someone who was *actually* really good at it?

Drawing, thought I was the best drawer in the class, turns out a girl who later on became my best friends and then my crush was a better drawer. Found that out the week she came to my school(she was a new student, this was also during 5th grade) and hated her for a while, tried to force myself to be a better drawer but that didn't work so I decided to talk to her. Turns out she was pretty nice and an awesome person, she might have been quiet but she was the exact opposite of me, we became best friends by the end of that year.

I could always talk to her, I was having problems? I had her, she never told anyone, anything we talked about if I didn't want her to. Then comes along 6th grade/Middle school, my sister gets cheated on by her first boyfriend 3 times you have that drama and I can't say anything about it because no one in my class should know that stuff he called her(He was basically a "Nice Guy") and I have a breakdown and talk to her about and feel better. Eventually, I learn that over text(yes I have her phone number and still have it) that she has to move.

Haven't seen her since, I'm not in 8th and all I can say is she's still a good artist, and that she was my first best friend and crush.
