I overheard him talking to one of his guy friends about a girl he had taken to a party one night earlier that week, telling his friend how he must have had beer goggles on and she definitely wasn't that cute... they were laughing about it as if it was funny that he had asked this girl out, as if the night were a funny mistake... the thing is, we followed each other on Instagram, and I had seen him post stories of the party, and of a happy, smiling girl who looked really excited to be with him. Initially when I saw the stories, I had been jealous of the girl. But later, having a face to put to his story made it so much worse.

It's so unattractive to hear a grown man insult a woman's looks, especially in such a cavalier way.
