What is a dirty business tactic that you know and everyone should be aware of it?

Pacific Blue Cross Health Insurance makes you write a letter in to them with your signature to cancel your premiums. You can't use email. You can't cancel over the phone. They do this to scam you out of every penny they can. I mailed my letter on Sept 28 and they said the postage was stamped in October so they charged me an additional $120 premium for October.
