What disabling timesnap did to the game

You can keep denying if that fits your worldview better, but yes it is.

For you personally? Yes. For other FG players who want the game to be something it's not meant to be? Sure.

But again. I can't believe how many times I have to say this.

This game. Is not. Trying to be. A fighting game. It's not designed to be only played by FG hardcore gamers, like yourself (lol). Sure, in your opinion making mostly everything unreactable would fix the game. Do you know what it would also do?

Drive away thousands of players who would never play, or even have bought, a game with design principles like that. You know, like fighting games.

How many multiple times bigger the playerbase would be if the game had actual growth potential for player skill?

Ehm... It wouldn't..? lol

For your average normal gamer - you know, the type this game is designed for, since, again AAA game by a major studio, not fighting game designed for a niche market of ultra competitive gamers only like FG - this game has plenty of potential skill growth anyway. I mean, fuck, look around this sub only, there are literal thousands here who genuinely can't even counter guardbreak from neutral consistently.

It would have even less players than it currently does. You know, like the vast majority of fighting games, with their few thousand concurrent players?

Tekken 7 released a month after For Honor, and already has less players. And now imagine what those numbers would be like if FH wasn't a broken piece of shit (And, again, no, this is not fixed by making most things unreactable and trying to turn it into another 08/15 fighting game).

If they'd do with FH what you want them too, to "fix" it, it would even drop below tekken 7 or fucking SF V lol. Wanna know why?

Simply because fighting games are so insanely unaccessible and essentially require you to have certain biological certifications to play that you can't necessarily improve. Can't biologically have sub-200 ms reaction times? Welp, guess what, fighting games can never be enjoyable for you.

And for the 8 billionth time, that is exactly what For Honor is trying to avoid.

You're contradicting yourself here. If you want the game to not be a fighting game (prediction based) AND don't want the game to be reaction-based either, then what the hell do you want? You've now gone against the two opposites lol.

No, I haven't. Not once have I said it shouldn't be based on reactions. Not sure where you've gotten that from?
