I have an office admin job. I work for a professional membership organisation; it’s for people in a specific industry. Kinda like the American Medical Association in the US, but in a different field. Emails, phone calls, assessing applications for membership, etc. It’s an okay job but the pay isn’t very good. It’s a non-profit org so I’ll never make tons there. I’m happy enough with it I guess. I did get a small promotion and raise this year as well as a decent bonus so that’s been nice. We’ll see how things go this winter though. There is going to be a massive increase in energy bills this winter in the U.K. so I’ll be feeling the burn from that for sure.
