What do you do for a living and what do you love/hate about it?

I'm the IT manager for a construction company. It's a pretty solid job, decent pay and benefits(I could probably make more somewhere else but I like this place), coworkers and owners are all nice, I get to travel around to job sites so I'm not always stuck in the office, I get to help with construction stuff on occasion which is a nice change of pace. I also have a lot of freedom to do my job and they're good about getting me what I need to keep everything going. As long as everything is working they don't care too much water I do, I regularly shuffle my hours around and leave early for some night skiing etc.

The biggest downside is I am responsible for support to so I get a lot of phone calls about problems that are just user error. Giving a bunch of guys that have been in construction all their lives and barely touched electronics ERP software, computers, tablets, etc. is an interesting thing.
