This answer depends entirely on how well your ON team does.

For myself and my team, we come in and work and bin what they have left, which is usually all of GM and half of consumables. Once freight is dealt with we work features to home and build new ones throughout the store. Topstock all of grocery/consumables. I have 2 associates who do markdown report audits, clearance audits and feature audits (idk if this is company wide but it is at least market wide for us to do it.) Any special projects that need to be done. Lastly we end our day by setting up for the truck.
In theory it is one of the easier areas to work but if your store is as understaffed as ours, Stocking 1 is the most overworked group on days.
