What does having a well-known company on your resume do?

I have some pretty significant sounding titles from prestigious places where a lot of my job functions where teaching other people how to maintain their position and do their job..

The only reason I believe that I keep getting hired is (a) my email from my old employer is still active, will remain active, and it appears prestigious. (b) I have a very serious and "upper class" sounding name. (c) After I get into the interview, I am just a fun, cool guy.

I check a lot of boxes, but then again, I don't. I've been hired 18 out of 21 interviews in my life. Half were around 30k, the rest 50k and recently 65k.

I don't know, for me and my field, and my careers, it was always the little things that got me in and then, I had to "turn it on" and I would get the job.
