What does "loving yourself mean"?

29 years old here.

I have a hypothesis on this "love yourself" thing.

It can be taken as typical ignorant normie advice sure but there is some truth to it.

If you are miserable und unhappy with yourself, if you don't even want to be part of your life, why would anyone else?

If you make progress in improving yourself but only do it becouse you want others to see, then you are not doing it for yourself. Which is why you stay miserable.

You need to live life in a way YOU think is right.

Only when you have things you can genuinly love about yourself and be open about them, then you can get others to see that aswell and love you for them.
