What does your Dream Horse look like?

I'm so sorry I fell off the earth after asking you about your Salt Wells HMA mare!

I would still love to ask you questions!

I currently live in Florida and there aren't as many TIP trainers where I am, I think primarily because of the distance to pickup from holding. I am a member of the Florida TIP group just as a lurker to see what trainers I like and all. How did you settle on your trainer?

Do you think some trainers are amenable to a client coming with a specific idea on what type of horse and what HMA they'd prefer to pull from?

And I'm a little unclear on how I would need to stall my potential TIP'd horse (one that already loads, picks up hooves, halters). Currently my horse is kept in a 5ft cow-paneled paddock top wired with electric wire on top with a run in shelter. I know I need to put sides on the run in. Am I correct in assuming I would need new fencing as well? And these restrictions would be in effect for the one year BLM TIP contract? I don't own the property but I am sure I can modify the paddock at my own expense. Or maybe a Mustang isn't in my future until I get my own property.

My existing mare is older so my goal is to look in the next year or two and get a horse trained before I have to retire my mare.

Thanks again for your help!
