Turned around to tell Stacy to stop talking to me so I could listen to the FRICKEN story! Mrs.Elhag called on us and had told us we both had to stay after the bell because we were "talking during reading time." I tried to plead my case but that bitter old hag had it out for me.

The bell rang, everyone left but the teacher, Stacy and me, I tried to plead my case one more time before being told "I don't want to hear it" so I grabbed my bag and booked it with the lightning speed of the average second grader, right out the wide open front gates of the elementary school (ah, the 90's.) and into my moms car.
