What is the dumbest thing you got punished for in school?

We had this really old fashioned french teacher who still took registers by hand. He also kept a record of all students who he made write lines, as punishment, in a special binder. My friend forgot his notebook so I took a page from the middle of mine to give to him. When he was walking around inspecting our work, he came across my friend writing on paper without a notebook. He went back to his desk, pulled out his special binder and called me to the front and told me to bring my notebook. He opened my notebook and saw the staples in the middle that had sort of been skewed out of place because of the paper i pulled out. He asked me if I tore paper from my notebook, to which I replied yes. He kept flicking through his binder and started to lecture me on how what I did was so wrong. He found what he was looking for in the binder and asked me if I recognised who wrote the lines. I shrugged no and he told me they belonged to my older sister. My sister had finished school over 4 years ago at the time, and he still had her lines. I attempted to respond and then he started yelling. He gave me paper and told me to write lines in the hallway. Unluckily for me the deputy head saw me in the hallway a couple minutes later, then swung by my class and asked him if she should take me to her office. He said yes. I went to her office and naively thought she would take my side as I explained why I was sent out of the class. I started to argue because I felt she was being patronising and she gave me an internal exclusion for a week. I was also issued with a month long report card ' to evaluate my behaviour', which I had to get signed each period by whoever was teaching. My parents weren't too pleased with my "alleged" poor behaviour. As for my friend, he was just told not to forget his notebook again.
