I tried to get kicked out of boarding school my senior year after getting suspended for a week early in the year. I just stopped going to sports, general school meetings, church and any study halls they gave me for missing things. I did go to all of my classes and did all of my school work. I knew I was in the top ten for grades but they didn't ever give us a class ranking. I got a stern warning and just shrugged and said that I just don't care. I got asked by the Dean right before Thanksgiving if I was still going to school there and that I need to show up to stuff, I responded yeah unfortunately I guess my dad's check for tuition cleared again. I had been going to this school since freshman year and paying full tuition so I knew that they weren't going to kick me out. My sister had gone there for three years before me and I had a younger brother at home so they just left me alone. I had a comment made to me by a one coach that maybe I should just not come back after Easter break and I said great I'll put the boat in the water early and go fishing. I then asked him if he wanted my dad's office number so he could work that out for me. That coach never talked to me again all year. No body really talked about it but some people were really pissed. When I had been suspended for a week earlier in the year I know that my dad just sat down in the meeting and the first thing he said was how much of a donation was needed because they wanted me gone for a month and I got a week. I also know that he just said he would put me into a different school some place else for the rest of the year if they gave me a month suspension. It was early enough in the school year that the school would have had to refund the tuition and not get a donation so I got a week off to party back home and chill.
