I had never really played Destiny until last year. I came into the game with another friend who knew nothing about it, and a third friend who was super experienced in D2. After figuring out basics of the game I jokingly dropped us all into Prophecy. We then decided to run it without a guide because the ambience and environment was so cool!

Figuring out those puzzles and seeing the amazing and colorful levels that bungie had built honestly brought back a level of joy and fun that I hadn’t experienced from gaming in years. My experienced friend (who had spent quite some time trying to convince us to play Destiny prior to us actually starting) told us “THIS is what Destiny is about.” I haven’t stopped playing since then.

After that there’s the witch queen campaign (we played legendary first run through and it was a blast). Then Day 1 Vow of the Disciple was amazingly fun despite the fact that we were stuck on a single encounter for over 5 hours.
