What exactly is a CCAF degree and how does that differ from a normal degree?

Your CCAF is to translate your Air Force experience into a civilian applicable format(transcript), and give you a boost in obtaining a bachelors degree with ease.

-like it or not, you can’t just give civilian companies your TBA IMT(or whatever your use to record training) and expect them to shuffle through it and understand what it means. College Transcript helps...that’s your CCAF.

  • CCAF pairs well with your experience if you’re going into the same field of work once you separate, majority of the time it is useful to check off a hard requirement for education with some jobs and then they go off of your experience. Imagine not getting a good job you are experienced in just because you don’t have your CCAF...

  • In some cases, you can apply for bachelors program and not waste time/ gi bill/ money starting from the bottom of a bachelors degree. cCAF affirms that you can knock off 2 yrs of college since you did them while in with the TA. That way you can use the remainder of your gi bill/FASFA for a masters degree(which is hella expansive in the states).

  • lastly if you don’t think CCAF matters, you’re not going for jobs that require any type of formal education.
