What exactly do Devin Booker and Donovan Mitchell do that makes them significantly better than Zach LaVine?

I do think they are close. Looking at BPM here are the take aways.

Booker is a better offensive player, but a worse defender.

Mitchell is better defender, but not a better offensive player (probably because of his inefficiency)

Mitchell: 0.6

Booker: 0.8

LaVine: 0.0

What those stats also indicated is that LaVine got a lot better last season, so people probably still have not caught on. Mitchell hit his slump and hopefully can make another step next year.

Advanced metrics should be taken with grain of salt special since I only look at a single one here, but this makes some sense to me having seen those guys mostly only play against the Bucks and some highlights.
