What do you expect from the next model ?
Introduce the vapor chamber implementation already seen in action in other rog machines. Duo’s air circulation provides more air than any other laptops but that’s not the bottleneck with this machines cooling. It’s the physical heatsink & copper pipe size which is limited by it’s thin chasis. A similarly sized Legion 7i can take the H55 intel chips with a 175w 3080ti for a reason and it’s none other than the vapor chamber.
Two, advanced optimus instead of a static mux switch, just doesn’t cut it at this price point that you need a restart to do so.
At least one more usb c port and a mini sd slot, the IO is a bit underwhelming for a creator laptop without thunderbolt since it’s not intel.
RGB numpad instead of the same red numpad that’s been used for like 4 years now. Seems more like Asus is trying to clear old stocks more than anything on such a premium model.
Definitely wished to see an 1080p webcam on there instead of the 720p one we get, and a physical camera shutter at the same time.
Would be good if the wrist rest that came with the machine uses magnet and can snap on to the machine. Just make it seem more premium and fitting for the price.
4k panel options for all regions.
If there’s no new Zephyrus S17 models, please make an Intel SKU as well.
