What do you expect from a woman on first date together?

I'm not telling women that they can't value their safety, there are plenty of reasonable safety measures that anyone can employ when meeting someone for a date and I personally use some of those things, meet in a public place with other people around, don't go to a second location, only enjoy drinks that are brought to you by a server or you've personally seen the bartender make, etc.

But what I'm irritated by (which I would argue is something entirely different from being offended) is that so many women automatically assume that I'm some sort of evil monster out to rape and murder them just because I am a man. Not only is it exhausting having to try and prove that I'm "one of the good ones", but it is incredibly dehumanizing and just feels horrible. I just want to be treated like a person.
