What is a fact that you have found out about someone you know that you’d never reveal to them that you know?

My oldest sister couldn't give a shit that I exist. We're 12 years apart in age, and she's too self absorbed to care much about her own children, let alone her siblings. But I remember a weekend trip to the beach that we took when I was 13, when she brought me along as a babysitter for her 2 year old daughter. I know she slept with a guy her friend had introduced her to, and the only reason she bothers to maintain the semi-cordial facade of a relationship with me is that I have sat on that secret for over 20 years.

That her ex husband (who was her husband at the time it happened) is a piece of shit who verbally, psychologically, and on some occasions physically abused his kids is the only reason I don't say anything. Not for my sister's sake, but because her kids already have one totally garbage parent, and their mom isn't much better. They don't need another reason to feel let down.
