What famous person has done something incredibly heinous, but has often been overlooked?

I think to some extent it’s not fair to let characters be ruin by an actor being a bad person or involved in this shit just because so many talented people worked to create that character and they deserve the credit. A lot of times the portrayal isn’t the most important part and a well written, thought out character, that a writer is probably so proud of shouldn’t have to be completely dismissed because the actor decided to suck.

Alex I think in particular that character written so well for first couple seasons because they knew what story they wanted to tell with Piper and Alex. The creators vision, irl Pipers real experiences, and a team of writers created Alex we love before Prepon was even signed on the project.
