What Fatty Foods do you Eat with Trikafta?

Just a headed up Trikaft is supposed to be taken with something with “moderate fat” content. I’m not sure there’s a specific number, but as someone who tacks there calorie input pretty strictly - I feel like that’s at least 10g of fat.

At 9cal per g of fat, 100cal is only ~11g of fat. And that is without any other macronutrients (carbs, protein). Unless you’re eating butter or olive oil, you’ve already set yourself up for failure.

With how important Trikafta is to your health, I honestly think you should consider starting eating breakfast. Consider it part of the prescription. It goes hand in hand.

Eggs are a good source of fat (as well as protein). If you can’t do that, consider making granola bars with peanut butter (another good source of fat and protein).
