What is a fictional death you'll never get over?

Oh this one is easy. Jacen Solo, son of Han and Leia in the EU novels. This guy had the most gut wrenching death that affected me a lot.

Basically, Jacen was a twin with his sister Jaina and grew up as a powerful Jedi. He saw some horrible visions and was coaxed by a sith named Lumiya into converting to the Dark Side. Jacen took the name Darth Caedus and started to learn a forbidden technique called Flow Walking, which let him interact with the Past and Future. Unknowingly, his actions released the worst evil entity in Star Wars history named Abeloth, the bringer of Chaos. Jacen saw the the galaxy dying in the future and knew the only way to stop it was to become evil himself. He did some bad things and eventually Jaina had to go take him out, as she was likely one of the only Jedi capable of comparing to the raw force power Jacen acquired. Jaina catches him on board his star destroyer, but Jacen has a vision of his daughter Allana getting killed in an explosion that was imminent. Racing down and through corridors and tunnels to of the star destroyer to go save her, Jaina catches up with him and they fight side by side as they are running down the halls. Jaina stabs him and just before he Caedus dies, Jacen's personality returns (the dark side in him left and he was good again) and Jacen let all his loved ones feel him through the Force as he died, just to say good bye and he was sorry.

Jacen knew he had to become the right hand of Death itself, slay thousands to protect trillions, protect his daughter at all costs but had to become evil to do it. He died in route to try to save Allana, killed by his own sister. That really affected me.
