What was a final blow that made you say enough and switch out of a class?

I had to take a single 3 credit class over the summer because my college tried to bone me out of a degree. So I took this bullshit freshman level class just to get it over with. On day 1 the professor tried to intimidate the class by threatening instant failures for the smalled of things, which is a huge red flag btw. On day 2 he berated an exchange student because he didn't know the meaning of a complicated word. I shit you not, this kid literally raised his hand to ask for the professor to explain the word so he could understand it, and the professor went on a 10 minute rant about how they shouldn't be in an American college if they can't speak perfect english.

Now I know the "in America we speak English" thing is a touchy subject, but I was the ONLY American student in this class, and just watched him rage at these poor kids over something so trivial. After his rant I packed my stuff up and left without a word to go to the registrar's office to drop the class and add a different one.
