I’m so incredibly sorry, mate. I had a spinal infection a year ago and have had inflamed SI joints since then; I know all too well about crawling around the house. For months I was taking 1000mg of ibuprofen every 4 hours and various muscle relaxers just to bring the pain down to a 7 or 8.

The pain is completely indescribable and almost impossible to understand if you haven’t experienced it firsthand. It can be even more painful when the people around you don’t grasp the full extent desperate agony you’re feeling, or if they make you feel like you’re exaggerating, dramatic, and it’s all in your head. It took way too long to find a doctor that actually believed me and treated me according to the level of pain that I said I was in. I definitely recommend trying to find a pain clinic, and though I can’t really help more than that, I just want you to know: I fully believe you when you say that you’re in that much pain. I really do. Don’t let anyone make you feel like you’re exaggerating.
