Looking things up and then explaining to someone takes more effort than looking it up yourself

Except they didn't say "someone look this up for me." They asked with the assumption that the person who answers already knew the answer. Someone taking several seconds to answer a simple question is far less effort than someone reading multiple guides to find the answer themselves.
