What the frick is wrong with cyclists?

To be fair that attitude is a massive issue for a lot of us, the rise and rise the entitled ego is a worry because societal norms, which no one batted an eye lid when asked to follow, has become the new anti.

Because its all about the individual. Look at our modern world, its all about me me me. Mass marketing is centred around the most important person in the world, me. Entertainment is the same and so attitudes have followed.

And this has become a massive issue with the rise of fucken social media, coincidence, nope. I point directly at that platform as the single most destructive thing that has eroded societal norms, more so than music and other event that has shaped modern society.

I mean the internet, what is the internet? Two decades ago the vision for the internet was completely opposite to what it has become. Back then it was hoped that it would raise human consciousness and offer people a space to escape and engage, it was a shared thing where as humans we could collectively share knowledge.

Didnt take long until the cancer that is mass marketing decided to monetize it, like everything else and turn into what it is today.

And what is the internet in 2017? Its a cesspool of hate, narcissm and basically one big fucken ad. Theres a "look at me" attitude in every platform.

Social Media? HEY HEY LOOK AT ME AT ME!

Youtube? HEY HEY LOOK AT ME AT ME! Arts?

HEY HEY LOOK AT ME AT ME! News?

HEY HEY LOOK AT ME AT ME MY OPINION ONLY MATTERS!

And i think this is now the reason why people just dont give a single fuck and make it about them, this current internet has emboldened them to think the world is only about them.

Sorry for my rant, but i cant help feel this way.
