Yep, we have a convicted child rapist in our family. Growing up we were just told to stay away from this guy. One kid went missing the same time this guy die, cue panicked search and they found kid alone playing video games and him somewhere else. Their solution was to tell us we weren't allowed alone. But they still invited this shit stain back the next year.

I had a kid of my own, and told the person organizing the family reunion that in no uncertain terms was he to be invited or allowed to come, or we weren't going to be there. I got mixed reactions of "Well, he wouldn't target a baby" and "We'll be supervising him" and "His wife forgave him for raping his child, so you should let it go". He wasn't invited, everyone "felt bad" for excluding him, said they were inviting him back next year, and that's the last time I wasted money to fly home for "family" that decided a child rapists feelings were more important than their own children.

Fuck that noise.
