What is a general class like in your martial art school?

class I'm going to be talking about is at minimum to an hour but can be as long as 2 hours. I'm going to be using the word rounds (basically 3 minute time period). class starts with 1-2 rounds of jump roping, then 1-2 rounds of shadowboxing. we then proceed to do 6-8 rounds of combinations on the bags (there's 3 types of bags, long bags, tear drop bags, and speed bags, 2 rounds on each bag then another 2 rounds on a bag of your choice). then we either do sparring for the rest of that first hour. If not sparring then various strength and conditioning exercises or the coach will teach us something very useful and practical for when we're in the ring or in a street fight. and after that first hour, if you choose to stay, you do the whole thing over again (minus the sparring) for the 2nd hour. (2nd hour is optional, typically people that are in the fight team do the 2nd hour).

this is the fight team class for my martial arts gym. they have three other types of classes for teenagers & adults. theres a general kickboxing class for people that just want a workout, for beginners there's a class that focuses on foundation and basics they're typically in that class for 3-6 months and then they move in to the advance class which focus more on the advanced stuff in muay thai. people that are in the advanced class have access to the fight team class, but again most people that take the fight team class are typically only people that are in the fight team or are planning on joining.

To be honest, i Just with the advanced class was longer, more time hitting the pads/mitts with someone seems really nice (that class is typically only an hour).
