What has a girlfriend said to you that you never forgot?

"You know I'll always believe your word over some random girl's, right? Just want you to know that."

Went to a friend's party once. My girlfriend was going to be there, but she was going to show up late. Anyway, my friends coworker brought over this stupid young girl who immediately started drinking too much. She was annoying so I started messing with her. For example, she complained about her long distance boyfriend, then called him and put him on speaker phone. Naturally I started yelling stuff "hey its your turn for a tattoo!", etc. Or we were playing cards against humanity and she was too drunk to remember what card she put in, so if a card was chosen and no one immediately claimed it, I'd claim it while she complained that she didn't remember. Eventually her friend clued her in that I'd stolen quite a few of her wins and she called me an asshole.

Eventually my girlfriend showed up, and this Drunky Brewster immediately said "thank goodness you're here, he's been flirting with me all night!" Don't know if that was her (admittedly brilliant) revenge or if she really thought I was. Kind of froze, but rolled my eyes and said "yeah, totally". Friend backed me up and my girlfriend laughed it off.

Later when I was driving her home she turned and hit me with the line I quoted at the beginning. I had previously dated a somewhat insecure girl, so I was honestly kind of taken aback at how open she was about her trust in me. That moment has really stuck with me over the years. Relationship eventually tanked because she didn't prioritize the relationship, but I won't ever forget how secure she was.
