I hung out with my girl friend on Saturday. We went to Pasadena and drove around and she showed me a bunch of different places. We walked up and down some busy main street and then we went to California Pizza Kitchen and brought our dinner home and watched Blazing Saddles. She asked if I wanted to go to a club, and I was like woooaah no way, but she said it's trans night so it'd be fun and safe. I still didn't go but I wish I had. To be honest we could have just drove around chatting in her truck and it'd have been just as much fun, I really enjoyed spending time with her. I get a bit socially clumsy around pretty girls though, so I was a bit reserved and not my usual socially clumsy self.

This day actually made me realize that I'm horribly socially starved right now. Friends online are great, but I really need some in-person contact so I'm looking to volunteer or join a tabletop gaming group or something. I need to go out and meet and be around people. I mistakenly believed the solution to my loneliness was sex, so I almost had a hookup a few days ago and I'm glad I chickened out.

Counting Saturday as this week - deal with it.
