The Grand Lodge of Ohio was bornin 1808 from the meeting of 5 lodges, of various original chartering.

*American Union Lodge #1- Chartered in 1776 by the Provincial Grand Lodge of England (Moderns), commonly called "St. John's Grand Lodge," but I believe they were rechartered by the Grand Lodge of Massachusetts some time after they broke off. *Cincinnati Lodge #13-Chartered by the Grand Lodge of Kentucky 1806 (Originally chartered as Nova Caesarea No. 10 in 1791 by the Grand Lodge of New Jersey, but they had returned that charter in favor of the KY charter, sometime after 1800- They now meet as Nova Caesarea Harmony Lodge #2) *Erie Lodge #47- Chartered in 1803 by the Grand Lodge of Connecticut *Lodge of Amity #105- Chartered in 1805 by the Grand Lodge of Pennsylvania *Scioto Lodge #2-Chartered in 1805 by the Grand Lodge of Massachusetts

The Grand Lodge of Kentucky was formed wholly by lodges chartered by the Grand Lodge of Virginia, splitting off from them in 1800.

I don't know the history or providence of the Grand Lodges of Virginia, Connecticut, Massachusetts, Pennsylvania or New Jersey.
