What do you guys think about WP moving towards business use?

Microsoft has said outright that they aren't focusing on the consumer market anymore. They are retreating into the enterprise. To me that is telling us as consumers pretty bluntly that they don't want us. It also sends a signal to developers that they don't need to make consumer apps for W10m because devices aren't even going to be targeted to consumers. It'd be as effective as making Angry Birds for Windows Server. I don't think it's the right move.

If Microsoft doesn't want consumers then I don't see any reason to stay. I've been active in the Insider preview giving feedback and finding bugs... for what? So that Microsoft can use the feedback I've provided and focus on businesses? No, I did that because I wanted to help to make W10m a great OS for consumers (and businesses), an OS that I wanted to use. I wanted Microsoft to stay in the consumer market and bring out a great flagship phone every year like Apple and Google do. If they aren't going to do that then I'll probably give up as well. There's no sense in staying if Microsoft is flat out saying that W10m isn't for me.

Maybe if Microsoft changes their mind again I'll become more interested. Until then I'll just enjoy my 950 for what it is and when it's time to get a new phone I'll see what's available.
