What do you guys in Europe think of Britain right now?

So, growing up as a kid in the late 80s and 90s in the Balkans, the UK was one of those almost mythical Western countries with long democratic tradition, freedom and most of all - political stability.

We really, really looked up to it and envied that aspect of it because we couldn't help but notice what a shitshow our internal politics was compared to the UK.

Well, what this shitshow in the last few years showed me that the political elite in the UK is also self-serving, backstabbing, corrupt, narcissistic, clueless and undeserving of their positions, just like in my own country (well, not THAT bad). And I am not talking about the Brexit vote, but how everything has been handled because of the vote. Regardless of your stance on Brexit, I think we can all agree that how the process has been handled has been absolutely terrible. So, yeah, the view I had of the UK as a bedrock of democratic stability (at least internal) has been completely shattered.
