Carol either went to Brooklyn, but eventually ended up in Queens—or she went towards New Hampshire and is living in a very cool small town there. Maybe she doesn’t make a ton of money but she has a ton of savings and is super frugal + thrifty. She’s not super worried because she knows she has a pretty decent inheritance eventually.

Jennifer 100% did exactly what you said. Boyfriend broke up with her and she completely broke down. This actually happened to my aunt (mom’s brother’s wife) in college. She’s totally a Jennifer and comes from a family with a lot of money and grew up in Long Island—which I’d say is almost way worse than CT wealthy people, legit pod people from LI—and she ended up in a mental hospital when her med school boyfriend broke up with her.
