What happened to George Floyd is a terrible thing. But why are there protests in Europe?

99% of Americans agree that what happened to George Floyd was wrong and horrible, but I would say the majority of us (Americans) do not support the rioting, looting, arson, violence that criminal elements and lowlifes have committed in taking advantage of Floyd's death. I would say most of us are even tired of the protests. They're protesting every weekend now and it is getting tiresome and annoying. All of the rioting and even the protests have been an overreaction to what happened to Floyd considering that the cops have been arrested and will be tried. Even the constant protests have been unnecessary because you can never control the actions of rogue cops. As an American, I actually think that it is cringy to see protests in western Europe. I am ashamed that the same rioting, looting, and attacks on law enforcement that have occurred over here is happening in the UK, France, etc. If you care about your country and society, please do not import American identity politics and social justice issues into your country. It's a shame that people who had nothing to do with what happened in Minneapolis have died, have lost their businesses, have lost their loved ones, etc.
