What happened to Owl City?

Huh, I never knew that. I'm gay, and obviously a huge supporter of gay marriage, but that doesn't make me dislike Adam at all. I respect his opinion. I'd have an issue if he was actively spreading hate, but if it's something he just mentioned in an interview then that's totally cool.

I went through a phase years ago where I was really into Owl City. I watched a lot of interviews and stuff and he seems like a really nice guy. The whole story is inspirational.

I think he definitely started chasing the money hard after the first couple albums. He's written so many songs for movies at this point, and it seems like he began focusing more on commercializing his music, and less on experimentation. There's nothing wrong with that though, I'd probably do the same thing. Once you've conveyed all the feelings you want to convey, you might as well just focus on making money. It is his job after all.

I'm gonna go and listen to some of his old stuff now. Been a really long time and I'd almost forgotten how much I used to love Owl City. :)
