What happened to the popular kids from your school?

There was a whole spectrum of "popular" kids, the way I saw it.

There were the kinds who lived privileged life but still excelled and worked hard. They were generally nice to everyone, and continued to excel past college. Mad respect to these folks.

Of course, there were the dumb kinds who just treated everyone like garbage. I had satisfaction knowing they're destined to be deadbeats. People called it. Early pregnancy, shitty apartments, minimum wage jobs. They deserved it.

Then there were the successful but arrogant ones. They only spoke to people they deemed "on their level", and anyone "lesser", they would treat condescendingly. Truthfully, some of them continued to succeed, but others peaked in terms of career. One particular guy I wasn't fond of was a spectacular artist, but his arrogance caught up to him when we got into college together. It got so bad he had to switch majors. His arrogance didn't stop there and he eventually just dropped out. He does some startup app company now, and while it seems like he's doing well, I actually feel sorry for him that he gave up his passion for design because he couldn't accept that people can be better than him.
