What happened with Rooster Teeth's partnership with Youtube Red?

Actually, I take that back, since you like making lists. "But I never talked about normal YouTube." I'm assuming you meant "no incentive" in your original comment, which I was pointing out Red's higher revenue sharing as being an incentive, and a pretty damned good one. Nowhere did I say to move any youtube content. Nowhere did I say to move any First content. "YT Red is mostly for feature films and web series partially funded by YT. Lazer Team was their first proper live-action film, and needed additional backing to minimize risk. It also helped them as it was being advertised as "YT Red launching, with exclusives from X, Y, and Rooster Teeth"." Not entirely. Theres handfuls of channels that post ancillary content, like the Podcast Postshow for example, for youtube red users, or just extra content in general. The original launch lineup was pretty think with heavy hitters, but as far as I'm aware, none were partially funded by YT. And short of promotion and distribution, I cant imagine YT adding any additional backing to Lazer Team, especially considering the partnership and it being a Red exclusive was announced a fair bit of time after it was completed. And no, YT Red didn't launch with any RT content short of the Lazer Team trailer. Red Launched in October, Lazer Team wasnt until what, January? And again, all that does is circle back into the promotion point I made. "It's a feature film, so they're taking a feature film approach to it, rather than any of their other web series." By putting it on a website that hosts webseries as the only way to watch it outside of a couple weekends of Tugg screenings? That doesnt seem very feature filmish to me. "They just gave it a thumbs up from a content creator point of view, and put their movie on it." Now you're only picking out parts of what Im saying. Like I said, Burnie specifically said, and I swear to god Ill rewatch 3 months of content to find it if I have to, that Rooster Teeth has future plans with youtube red. Red was a giant sponsor for a good while, not just a thumbs up from the company. Remember all the annoying Lazer Team bumpers for what, a month, month and a half? Brought to you by Youtube Red? "RT built their own distribution method before YouTube was even a thing. They don't need another one if First is working well, and they're getting a bigger slice of the subscriptions, which go directly to them." No shit. I was downloading RvB on a 56k modem in 2004, I know how their company has worked. And again, Im not saying take anything away from First. Im not saying redesign their entire youtube strategy. I was simply postulating that they have an entire additional revenue stream through a company they are regular partners with which was said they would produce content for, and they havent, and whats up with that? Simple. You read way too much into things that werent there.
