Alright so I sent your post to my husband who has treated multiple gunshot wounds in the field as an EMT/medic and here’s what he responded with:
Straight through ten feet is highly dependent on the caliber of the bullet. How big the the wound is 2x2 cm? 4x4cm? Account for bloom, was it internal or a flesh wound. It all varies.
The velocity of a bullet depending on caliber could down someone immediately, hit an artery especially near the shoulder and then they would only have only so long to live.
I would need to know the anatomical location of the wound. But about a month straight through should close it up with he’s y scarring, flesh wound depending on severity could be anywhere from 1week to a month.
GSWs are a lot more complicated then movies depict
