What hobby does NOT get more expensive the more you dive into it?

I used to think this was a joke, or some elaborate conspiracy to get people to use coupons more so they'd come to the store and spend more money, but then My sister got really into it, and its effing crazy.

She subscribes to every paper she can get, has her family and neighbors give her their coupons, and scours countless apps/online deal sites and finds the craziest deals.

I watched my niece and drove her around for a day and what i saw was madness. She ended up getting like 25 packs of the tide pods, 20+ fabric softener sheets, 10+ big ass laundry detergent bottles, something stupid like 30+ bulk boxes of diapers in varying sizes, and over 20 packs of baby wipes all for like $1.18 or something dumb like that.

It's ridiculous. She made easter baskets for all of the kids in our family(9) this year that had like $100 worth of toys/candy/flip flops and she spent under $10 for all of it. It's absolutely insane.
