This is what the HSE calls early intervention. My son is autistic. He was referred aged 1. He is two and a half now. He will be lucky to start treatment before his 5th birthday.

There's some new trails happening in Panama with stem-cells that look very promising. I saw Mel Gibson on the Joe Rogan podcast talking about his father getting a different stem cell treatment. The doctor was also on with him. The doc claims to have cured many of the 30 people on the trails with autism. My nephew is 4 years old and is on the spectrum and your pain is very echoed by my sister. He started after 3 because the HSE said before that age they couldn't tell, but all the family could. He's making great strides now, way more responsive and starting to talk and make verbal cues. However it's a long journey of driving him to Sligo twice a week from Mayo and tons of meetings. I mentioned stem cell to my sister, didn't get a reply back! I guess when it's your child, the idea of trails and new experiment medicine sounds a bit odd.
