What if I have an idea for a game, but I couldn't pull it off? How do I get my idea out there?

If your idea must be done as a game then google how to make a game design document and work on the GDD. If nothing else you've learned a bit more about that. If you manage to get a workable GDD then you find a website like this one:

And you make a post like the others there looking for people to work on their ideas. Note how many of those posts have 0 replies. Everyone's got their own idea. This is an uphill battle. Know that going in.

Here are some more sites to look at:

If you fail to make any of that work and you still think it must be a game and you don't want to learn a programming language or anything else then consider whether or not it might work as a text-based game.

If the idea is more important than it being a game then back off the game thing and just do something else with it. If you can draw maybe a webcomic is an option. If you can't then you write a story. There are plenty of ways to get your idea into the world.

The only thing that's certain is you are going to have to be the one to get it there. You're going to have to birth your baby by yourself. Everyone else has their own baby. That's the reality of it.
