What if fetuses could be removed from the uterus?

This has taken a left turn but I love it haha. If you’re upset by this, start protesting it everywhere. Every hospital across the country has CMO (comfort measures only) procedures where life support is withdrawn, even without brain death. They even bring comfort carts with snacks and drinks for the family beforehand. Go picket them, please. Every hospital has an ethics team that helps guide decision making. But it is very common in healthcare to withdraw care on someone whose chance of meaningful recovery is slim. So you can rage against me all you like, but you’re in the minority, dude. You also clearly don’t understand healthcare.

Okay, so what makes life valuable then? And please keep in mind the euthanasia argument. If they wouldn’t have those valuable things, then isn’t it morally acceptable to withdraw support?

Also we definitely disagree on what life is more important. I wouldn’t hesitate to save a 30 year old over a 5 year old. Young does not mean they matter more, at least to me. I personally value human lives that have become independent far more than those that haven’t. That’s a large reason why I’m pro choice. Fetuses don’t have souls, they don’t have destinies. They don’t have personalities or friends or dreams. Women do. Adults do.
