So, what if you HAVEN'T changed jobs in a while and you know you're underpaid by 67%? Fellow sysadmins, how do I climb out of the hole I dug?

16 years with the same company. 100% work at home for the past 15.5 years. Solo Linux Admin/QA/Tech Writer/Vendor Contact/Support Tech/Network Guy/whatever my boss wants that day. I have a room full of hats to wear. I live in a major metropolitan area. I have no friends within the state and family about an hour away. My ability to socialize with new people outside of work related situations is poor to put it lightly. I let myself go and now have a few medical conditions that require I keep fit. The only thing that is a bright spot in my life is cycling. Which is at least something.

My advice, don't become me. Use what others here have said to get your edge back and move on to something in an office.
